Pregnant Ann Hathaway opened up about how her “deep love” for her husband Adam Shulman has inspired her performance in the upcoming movie The Odyssey.

The 43-year-old actress, who is expecting her third baby with her husband of 14 years, shared that her character, Penelope, in Sir Christopher Nolan’s film waited 20 years for the return of her husband Odysseus, played by Matt Damon.

She admitted that she would do the same in life for her soulmate husband, Adam.

“I am one of the luckiest people on the planet Earth,” Ann told E News during The Odyssey’s New York premiere on July 14.

“I met my soulmate, and we decided to get married and have a family.”

She continued, “We both kind of started playing these characters in this deep love relationship knowing that it was possible.”

As Ann walked the red carpet flaunting her pregnant baby belly, she gushed while cradling her baby belly that she had the best accessory of the night

“Cannot be beat. This is a lovely microphone,” she joked, referring to her baby bump, “but I prefer my accessory.”

The soon-to-be mom of four tied the knot with Adam back in 2012, and they welcomed their first son, Jonathan Rosebanks, in March 2016 and their second son, Jack, in November 2019.
