The 2026 Nissan Sentra is completely redesigned, marking the start of its ninth generation. The exterior is sleek, and the interior feels more upscale. With head-turning exterior color options and premium interior styles to choose from, the Sentra can be a sensible choice for those looking for a sedan with a luxury feel without the luxury price tag.
Let’s take a closer look at what the Sentra offers on the inside.
Sentra Passenger Room Plus Comfort
Nissan is famous for its Zero Gravity seats, which use 14 pressure points to keep the body close to a neutral posture while driving. Both driver and passenger can enjoy Zero Gravity seating across all the Sentra’s trim levels. Heated front seats and steering wheel are available for added comfort in the winter. The Sentra seats five, offering drivers and passengers 44 inches of legroom up front and 34.8 inches in the rear.
Sentra Materials and Design
With the Sentra, Nissan paid attention to the smallest details, infusing elements like contrast stitching and pattern design into every trim level. A range of materials, from cloth to quilted leatherette, is available so you can tailor the interior of your Sentra to be as upscale or sporty as you are.
Sentra Cargo Room and Flexibility
The new Sentra features a wider trunk opening with a lower liftover, making it easier to load cargo. Fold down the 60/40 split seats and open the cargo pass-through area to fit larger items such as a 55-inch flat-screen TV, a bike, or a rolled-up carpet. With the seats upright, the trunk can carry 14.3 cubic feet of cargo.
Sentra Features and Tech
Nissan’s available Monolith Display offers dual 12.3-inch screens that combine for a seamless, panoramic view of messages, maps, music, and more. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard on all Sentra trim levels. Base models feature a 7-inch instrument cluster.
Other techy treats in the Sentra include Active Ride Control, which helps absorb bumps on the road, Intelligent Engine Brake, which contributes to a smoother drive, and Intelligent Trace Control, which keeps the Sentra on course when cornering. Hill Start Assist and Electronic Parking Brake, along with Automatic Brake Hold, work together to make uphill driving easier. ProPILOT Assist combines intelligent cruise control and steering assist to manage driving in stop-and-go traffic.
Safety Shield 360 is a suite of safety features also available on the Sentra. It includes Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, and Automatic Emergency Braking, among others.
The new generation of the Nissan Sentra is jam-packed with updated tech and plenty of design options across four affordable trim levels, so you can get the right combination that makes this car your own.
