Noah Newman & Sienna Bacall have now become an As Seen on TV, But Wait There’s More special edition on Young & the Restless. Just when soap opera fans thought the end of Noah & Sienna’s cringe romance had wrapped up, it’s boomeranging back from LA to Genoa City. It’s time again to brace for more cringe.

Y&R’s Poor Sienna… Needs a New Home with Noah Newman
How cute… Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) tried to be the grown-up in the relationship – you know, the woman who’s approximately the same age as her boyfriend’s mom, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) – and headed back to LA without Noah Newman (Lucas Adams). She tried to return to her old lifestyle, to move on like an actual adult. But despite how creepy her ex-husband, Mitch Bacall/Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), was, Sienna apparently found a void in LA. Because nothing says “healthy relationship” like realizing you can’t function without your much-younger boyfriend.
So, despite the Newman family being in complete turmoil, Noah Newman has dropped everything to run back to LA and fetch his lady. Never mind that his sister, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), just got a court-ordered ankle monitor after kidnapping the little boy she gave birth to for Noah’s aunt, Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway). Oh, and also never mind that the Newman family is supposedly losing everything after the never-ending AI hot mess of a storyline took another turn.
Where Noah should be: supporting his mother Sharon through whatever drama she’s facing, being there for his sister during her literal criminal proceedings, or helping his family navigate their crisis. Where Noah actually is: fetching his age-inappropriate girlfriend from LA like she’s a package that needs pickup.
Speaking of criminal proceedings, there are more headed the Newmans’ way besides Mariah’s court orders. Young & the Restless fans know Matt Clark isn’t dead, but no one in Genoa City knows… YET. There is NO doubt that Matt Clark has unfinished business with both Sienna & any Newman he can find. So yes, Noah, by all means — bring Sienna straight to the Newman Compound. What could possibly go wrong?
Three’s a Crowd: The Newman Compound’s Most Awkward Living Situation Yet
Here’s where Noah’s brilliant plan really falls apart: he wants to bring Sienna back to live at Sharon’s house on the Newman Compound. You know, the same house where Mariah is already living as part of her court-ordered arrangement after the kidnapping charges.
So picture this: Mariah with her ankle monitor, trying to comply with court orders. Noah playing house with his girlfriend, who is his mom’s age & Sienna awkwardly existing in the same space as her boyfriend’s criminally-charged sister. And Sharon stuck refereeing this disaster while one kid is under legal supervision and the other is making epically bad life choices.
Sharon’s house is about to become a pressure cooker of dysfunction, inappropriate relationships, and court-ordered supervision all under one roof. This isn’t a family home anymore – it’s a reality TV show nobody asked for.
Perhaps Sienna and Noah deserve one another, but Mariah and Sharon definitely don’t deserve this hot mess invading their already complicated situation. Are Young & the Restless fans supposed to believe this will work out just fine?
