Tokyo Auto Salon Malaysia (TAS Malaysia) was officially launched over the weekend on Sunday (August 23, 2026), and with it comes more information about the event formerly known as Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur (TAS KL) that ran for three years from 2023 to 2025.
As previously reported, TAS Malaysia takes place from October 2-4 this year, with the confirmed location being Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) in Selangor. On all three days, the event will be open to the public from 10am to 10pm.
In its press release, the TAS Malaysia organising committee said ticket prices will start from RM48, with no less than eight ticket classes available. These include early bird, student, normal, family, early entry pass, collector fast lane, three-day access combo and VIP experience, with finalised pricing for each set to be revealed when sales begin at the end of August – we’ll update this page accordingly.
Visitors to TAS Malaysia can look forward to a wide range of customised vehicles that celebrate JDM culture, motorsports as well as famous car tuners. The shift to MAEPS also allows for drift demonstrations at a dedicated outdoor area, which was something that TAS KL did not have.
