The sultry house track arrives as ZHU continues the rollout of his ‘BLACK MIDAS’ era.
ZHU has teamed up with HNTR for a new single, ‘CALL ME BABY (SAY MY NAME),’ out now on his own Blacklizt Sound Syndicate imprint.
The dark and hazy dance record had been a hotly anticipated ID this year, having been debuted by ZHU at Ultra Miami before becoming a staple across his sets at Tomorrowland, Pacha NYC, Club Space and more.
Arriving a few short months after his fifth studio album BLACK MIDAS, the track feels like it’s slinking toward you across a dimly lit dancefloor. A thick and heavy bassline meets a smooth, signature house groove from ZHU while the lyrics are as sultry as the production.
“I’ve been back in the clubs this year on my Blacklizt mode,” ZHU said in a statement. “It was great to link with HNTR to make this club heater.”
ZHU’s smoky late-night identity and HNTR’s industrial energy made for a complementary match on their first official link-up last year, an official remix of the former’s generational dance anthem ‘Faded.’ That track was ultimately named by EDM.com among the best of 2025.
Following a sold-out pop-up show in HNTR’s hometown of Toronto earlier this month, ZHU has a pair of shows at Austin’s Concourse Project this weekend for F1, followed by a two-night opening run at Re:Frame in Los Angeles. He will also co-headline MoonPay X Games Aspen 2027 alongside Marshmello. Meanwhile, HNTR has upcoming appearances at SCREAM Edmonton, Seismic Dance Event and EDSea.
