The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, who are proud parents to their two children, Lady Louise and Earl James, are seemingly going through a major dilemma.
The couple recently celebrated their daughter’s graduation from St Andrews University and now their teenager son is off to carve his own path at the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester, Gloucestershire.
Sophie and Edward are now focusing on their duties as working royals, but that has not relinquished them from worries. And currently, the parents have conflicting views on the possible new chapter of Lady Louise, according to sources cited by New Idea.

It is believed that Lady Louise and her boyfriend Felix da Clamp-Silva could be planning an engagement soon as the couple is “serious” about this romance.
“Louise and Felix are very serious about their relationship and talking about their future together, from having kids to buying a house,” the source said.
However, Sophie believes they would be rushing the decision while Edward thinks it’s a good path given his own uncomfortable past experience.
“Getting married is a stepping stone, but for a career woman like Sophie, she’s genuinely worried they are both way too young,” they continued.
“Edward thinks she should stay out of it, pointing out the virtues of not accumulating an extensive romantic past, only to have it come back and humiliate them like it has for him with some of his exes.”

Edward’s ex has recently released a memoir which details their five-year relation, exposing some intimate details. Hence, the King’s brother is full supportive.
Although, while Edward and Sophie have differing opinions, the couple is understood to be prioritising their daughter’s happiness.
