Date announced for Longview Pride

LONGVIEW — Longview Pride organizers have announced that the city’s annual Pride celebration will take place July 11 at the Maude Cobb Convention Center.

Mark Vinson, president of the city’s Pride festival, said the event was scheduled for July instead of June due to booking issues at the convention center earlier in the year. Additional details about programming and event hours are expected to be announced closer to the date.

Organizers have begun engaging vendors for the 2026 celebration, including Crites Chaos & Charm LLC, a small business offering handmade freshies, jewelry and decorative items, which expressed interest through social media.

Last year’s Longview Pride celebration at the same venue cost $25 per ticket and included a range of vendors and food trucks along with family-friendly activities such as tethered hot air balloon rides and a children’s obstacle course.
