This week, we’d like to announce a new collaboration between the BC Alliance for Arts + Culture and The Bandish Network. The Bandish Network provides industry support, engagement, representation and advocacy for the pan-Indus Valley community of presenters, artists, cultural workers and organizations.
Our collaboration with the Traditional Indian Arts Initiative will aim to meet the growing needs of the Indian arts & culture communities in BC. With this initiative, we hope to inspire intergenerational and intercultural connectivity and support live performing arts.
Through ongoing engagement and mentorship initiatives we will shine a spotlight on cultural presenters, projects, educators, and practicing and touring artists of Indian Traditional disciplines.
We look forward to working with the Bandish Network to support their goal to radiate, disseminate, and educate through curated historically informed arts.
