The Fendi Baguette bag is one designer bag you can’t have failed to have heard of or seen. Especially if you’re of the Sex And The City era. We practically grew up dreaming of the beloved baguette. I nearly got rid of mine around the same time I got rid of my Dior Saddle bag, yes, I’m still kicking myself! I’m so glad I didn’t as it’s had a resurgence over the last few years and I’m definitely getting wear from my vintage Fendi Baguette bag now! As seen on celebrities like Amanda Seyfried, Emma Roberts, Paris Hilton, Rihanna, Helena Bordon, Leonie Hanne and obviously Sarah Jessica Parker. It’s also a great way to rock the East Meets West bag trend that’s so big right now. The Fendi Baguette bag and Fendi Mama Baguette bag are more in style this year than they’ve been in years! The bag’s popularity died for a while and Fendi even discontinued it for several years but since it’s relaunch back in 2019 it’s popularity has been on the rise.
After the release of “And Just Like That” in 2023, the searches for “Fendi Baguette bags” exploded with Pinterest searches going up by 170%. I think people had forgotten how fun and personal they can be. I suspect this will be more than a passing trend and the Baguette will finally be dubbed a classic. Mine is most definitely back out of it’s dust bag!
