  1. The RAK Half Marathon, February 1, 2024,  had 10,000 competitors, an 80 percent growth rate over 2024! Learn more at www.rakhalfmarathon.com
  2. The New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, held on February 2, 2025, was the 30th event. I have attended 28 of them. Highlights included the Men’s 1,500m, Women’s mile, 3000 meters, and men’s and Women’s 60 meters.
  3. Noah Lyles was a highlight and headliner. He and Marcell Jacobs gave the fans two successive Olympic 100m champions from 2021 and 2024.

  4. The SRO crowd of 4,024 was boisterous.
  5. The TRACK at New Balance is a great place to host our sport.
  6. Great interviews of Zoe Hobbs, Graham Blanks, Rai Benjamin, Vernon Norwood, Josh Hoey, Trey Cunnigham
  7. I Really enjoyed KRASI restaurant in Boston, a new Greek tapas restaurant.

  • Larry Eder has had a 52-year involvement in the sport of athletics. Larry has experienced the sport as an athlete, coach, magazine publisher, and now, journalist and blogger. His first article, on Don Bowden, America’s first sub-4 minute miler, was published in RW in 1983. Larry has published several magazines on athletics, from American Athletics to the U.S. version of Spikes magazine. He currently manages the content and marketing development of the RunningNetwork, The Shoe Addicts, and RunBlogRun. Of RunBlogRun, his daily pilgrimage with the sport, Larry says: “I have to admit, I love traveling to far away meets, writing about the sport I love, and the athletes I respect, for my readers at runblogrun.com, the most of anything I have ever done, except, maybe running itself.” Also does some updates for BBC Sports at key events, which he truly enjoys.
