Here’s the thing: Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) & Phyllis didn’t even like each other until they ended up kidnapped together, but that shared trauma turned them into fast, genuine friends. Which means Phyllis has almost certainly heard at least the broad strokes of Sharon’s history with Matt Clark — & even a brief overview of that should be more than enough to make anyone think twice.
