Paulie Connell Proposed To The Real Housewives of New Jersey Star In November 2025
Connell is known to many Real Housewives of New Jersey fans through his relationship with Dolores Catania. Catania, who had been part of the show since its early seasons before joining the main cast in 2016, began dating the Dublin-born Connell in 2021.
Shortly after they started dating, Catania moved into Connell’s home. Connell proposed to the RHONJ star in November 2025 at an Apple Store where they originally met.
Recently, taking to Instagram, Connell surprised fans with a recent transformation. Starting things off, he had lost weight, which left him with extra skin.
However, Connell underwent a lower blepharoplasty to remove his excess eyelid skin. As he shared in a caption, “Last year during my weight-loss journey, after dropping a significant amount of weight, as you would, I started to notice some extra skin around my eyes. It’s one of those things that can happen when your body changes.”
The RHONJ alum thanked New Jersey surgeon Dr. Mark Karolak, “who performed a small skin pinch procedure.” He continued, noting, “It’s a very simple, minimally invasive procedure, but for me it made a big difference in my overall self-confidence.”
Connell Noted That Other Men Had Questions About The Procedure
“Just sharing part of the journey. Improving your health and yourself sometimes comes with small adjustments along the way — and that’s okay. Progress is progress. And self-care is what makes you as a person happy.”
Connell noted that a lot of men “out there” were also asking questions about the procedure. While acknowledging a person needs to be the “right candidate,” he called “feeling fresh” a “good medicine.”
The Irish-born Connell is known as an entrepreneur in his professional life. According to IMDB, he has been appearing on The Real Housewives of New Jersey since Season 12. He has also made a few appearances on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
With Connell’s recent share, fans have also been sharing their own reactions. A few Bravo stars even joined the conversation. Tamra Judge, known for appearing on The Real Housewives of Orange County, wrote, “Looks great. Very natural.” For his part, Connell thanked her with a few heart emojis, as well as a shamrock one.
