‘Salon quality’ press-on nails has shoppers ‘absolutely delighted and shocked’

‘I love them for an easy and quick salon quality nail polish’

As Christmas rolls nearer and nearer, the expenses can add up with presents, food, travel and all the little self-care bits in between. However, shoppers are singing the praises of OPI’s press-on nails for saving them from salon visits and giving a bit of festive shine.

OPI’s range of press-on nails include glittery options and holographic press-ons, along with short and long variants in striking shades. There’s also a 20% discount at the moment with code XMAS20.

Starting off with their Iconic Shades collection, there are four colours in two lengths available, including a light blue, minty green, bright pink in short, and a purple in the long variant. While the green, purple and pink options are currently priced at £12, the blue set is £14.50.

Each set includes 30 nails in a variety of sizes, they’re vegan friendly, with sustainable packaging, and the press-on nails are reusable, too.

Next up, OPI’s Nail Art line-up could be a great way for shoppers to inject a subtle sense of style to their everyday outfits. With three options available, there’s one in a brighter pink that’s in a long length, and two in lighter, more natural tones in shorter lengths.

They’re all priced at £14.50, so with the 20% off, shoppers can snap them up for £11.60. With a bunch of adorable detailing, from chrome embellishments to gold leaf flecks, there are similarly 30 nails in the box.

Finishing up with their Xpress/on Effects Extra OPIcing, currently priced at £14.50, or £11.60 with the discount. With a unique, holographic design, these are sparkling and slightly transparent, with a shorter length and square shape.

Elsewhere, shoppers could look at OPI’s New-In section, where there’s a range of gift sets and kits in time for Christmas, along with bottles of nail polish and lacquers. One of their standout products is the advent nail calendar, which features 12 days of mini nail lacquer treats wrapped up in a stylish gift box.

For those missing the warm and amber colours of autumn, OPI’s Autumn Nail Trends collection might bring the nostalgia needed. Their Good Enough to Treat collection is also here for the holidays, which could make the perfect beauty themed gift this Christmas.

As an alternative, shoppers could check out Boots’ Glamnetic Caviar Press-On Nails, currently priced at £8.67, down from £13. With a two-tone design, featuring a natural base complete with black tips, these are short and almond shaped with 30 in a pack.

Shoppers could also look at the Red False Nails – 30pcs Cat Eye Design Burgundy Stick on Nails from Amazon, currently priced at £3.98. There’s a huge variety of different colours and options available, and Amazon says they’ve been bought more than 300 times in the past month, with shoppers leaving an average rating of 4.4 out of five, from more than 120 reviews.

Back to OPI’s offerings. One shopper, who purchased the press-on nails, said: “Second pair of press-on nails and I love them for an easy and quick salon-quality nail polish.”

Another said: “I struggle to find nails that stay on. These lasted 10 days and are still glossy! I was absolutely delighted and kinda shocked. I did gently buff my nails with the rougher side of a file and used a little glue on both my nail and the enhancement. Just a little spread out with the nozzle. Really impressed.”

Other shoppers had issues with sizing. One said: “Beautiful colour and quality, however they are a bit small for me. Can only use half or less of the 30 nails that come with it. They do last two to three weeks, but I have to re-glue one or another over the period.”

Another had an issue with the glue used. They added: “The nails looked very professional and they were easy to put on. However, the nail glue made my natural nails cloudy.”

Another shopper said: “The application of these nails was really easy, I especially liked the inclusion of the stencil that enabled me to lay out the nails for each finger, as well as the nail prep tools. The range of nail sizes was great and I found a good fit for each size nail.

“I was easily able to file any nails that were a little too long or big. The nails felt very comfortable to wear and I loved the classic red colour and shape. Perfect for everyday. They lasted almost two weeks. Overall, I am very happy with the product and would consider buying them again.”

Buyers can head to OPI for a range of nailcare products.
