Jamie Foxx didn’t hold back after a glass bottle was thrown at rapper GloRilla during his daughter’s Halloween-themed music festival.
The Oscar-winning actor stepped in to defend the performer when the incident disrupted her set at Skvlk Fest, an event organized by his 17-year-old daughter, Anelise.
In a video shared on X, the 57-year-old could be seen onstage addressing the crowd after the bottle was hurled toward GloRilla mid-performance.
The Back in Action star immediately called out the person responsible, visibly upset by what had happened.
“Why would you do something like that?” Foxx shouted into the microphone. “Why would you throw something at the stage, man? This is for free.”
He continued, “Y’all don’t deserve this s—. That’s f—– up, bro. I’m so disappointed. I love y’all but hate whoever the f— that was. That ain’t cool, bro. You throw some s— at my house? That ain’t cool.”
GloRilla, 26, briefly paused her set before resuming her performance and finishing strong despite the interruption.
While neither Foxx nor GloRilla has publicly commented on the incident, the actor later took to Instagram to show love for his daughter and celebrate the success of her first major event.
He shared behind-the-scenes clips from the festival — which featured artists like Tyga and Leon Thomas — and praised Anelise’s dedication in making her vision a reality.
“This is just a little taste of what was going on behind the scenes … my daughter, @anelisefoxx, has always wanted to throw the biggest party in the world,” Foxx wrote.
“When she was a little kid, that was her dream and aspiration … it is now coming true. The first annual @skvlkfest was amazing!!”
The actor shares Anelise with his ex, Kristin Grannis.
Despite the brief chaos, the night ultimately marked a proud moment for Foxx as both a protective father and a supportive parent watching his daughter’s dream take flight.
