The Tuesday, October 28, episode of Dancing With the Stars saw the Season 34 competition narrow down to its final eight couples. Though Elaine Hendrix was unable to compete during Halloween Night with her partner, Alan Bersten, due to injury, the pair still made it through to next week’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night. Andy Richter and Emma Slater once again landed at the bottom of the leaderboard, but a different couple were ultimately sent home.
Each week, eliminations are made leading up to the grand finale. The first elimination took place during Episode 2 on Tuesday, September 23. Since no one was sent home in Week 1, Week 2 featured a double elimination, with the two contestants at the bottom of the pack being sent home. There was another elimination during Weeks 3 and 4, as well, and the stakes became higher than ever due to the shocking results. Now that we’re halfway through the season, the competition is only getting tougher.
